Pilgrims Moves to Interim Location preparing for demo & construction

As fundraising to build Edmonton’s first free-standing residential community hospice continues, so do preparations to start construction.

In early May, 2019, Pilgrims Hospice Society moved out of the repurposed convent it has operated from for almost two decades, to an interim location for the construction period.

Programs and services will continue to be provided  from the interim location at #104, 15023 123 Ave NW.

Construction barrier is installed around the former Pilgrims Hospice building to make way for demolition and construction of the Roozen Family Hospice Centre

The Roozen Family Hospice Centre will be built on the old site in Edmonon’s established Crestwood neighbourhood (Candy Cane Lane).

The fundraising goal is to secure $10 million before shovels hit the ground in August, 2019.

Almost $8 million has been committed to date.
